    Last Friday (29th), WSB Advisors attended the NBCC – Norwegian Brazilian Chamber of Commerce – Christmas Dinner at Clube Caiçaras, Rio de Janeiro. The event was another fantastic opportunity organized by the NBCC, this time to celebrate 2024’s achievements.

  • FPSO with first oil

    FPSO with first oil

    Petrobras has announced that the FPSO Maria Quitéria produced its first oil on last Tuesday (15), in Jubarte Field, Campos Basin. The vessel has the capacity to produce up to 100.000 boed of crude and can process up to 5 million cubic meters of gas.

    Built by Yinson, the FPSO departed from China in May and arrived in Brazil in August, with its first oil production occurring earlier than originally planned, which was expected for 2025.

  • FPSO Atlanta is sold

    FPSO Atlanta is sold

    The Malaysian company Yinson has exercised the purchase option and acquired FPSO Atlanta from Enauta. It will be installed in the field of the same name, in the Santos Basin. Phase one of the Atlanta development is expected to begin production in mid-2024 through six wells.

    Yinson acquired the FPSO through the acquisition of AFPS BV, the company that controls the platform. The value of the purchase is US$ 465 million. Of this amount, US$86 million will be paid now and the balance will be paid over 15 years. According to Enauta, Yinson’s decision is important to given that it will save US$ 100 million in the Atlanta Definitive System project. In addition, the oil company informed that the sale will reduce risks in the development of the Atlanta Field.

  • FPSO Anna Nery arrives in Brazil

    FPSO Anna Nery arrives in Brazil

    FPSO Anna Nery has safely arrived in Brazilian waters. The FPSO was being towed from China by ALP Striker and ALP
    Keeper ocean tugs since July this year. Anna Nery is the first of three units that will be delivered by Yinson to projects
    in Brazil, and is yet to complete its final commissioning steps in BrasFELS yard in Angra dos Reis. Both ALP tugs are awaiting customs clearance to deliver the unit at the yard in Angra and two additional harbor tugs will be chartered to provide extra support during this last stage at the yard. Yinson is already in advanced negotiations with a traditional Brazilian player for this scope.
