FPSO Almirante Barroso (MV32) was delivered yesterday at BrasFELS shipyard in Angra dos Reis after being cleared at customs. The unit will undergo final commissioning stages at the yard before it can be towed again to location. The MODEC unit will comprise the 5th module of Petrobras’ production system in Búzios field, Santos Basin. Current forecast for commencement of operations and first oil for the FPSO is Q1 2023.
During this past week, it was held in Rio de Janeiro the Rio Oil & Gas conference. An event destined for all companies involved in this sector to discuss perspectives for the future.
